Cosmic Connections: Bridging the Early and Late Universe

The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc) is thrilled to announce a National Meeting in Cosmology: "Cosmic Connections: Bridging the Early and Late Universe", scheduled to take place from July 28 to August 1, 2025, in the prestigious Ramanujan Auditorium at IMSc, Chennai. This meeting aims to provide a platform for in-depth discussions and collaborations across a wide spectrum of cosmological topics, including:

  • Early Universe: Inflation, primordial perturbations, Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), and primordial gravitational waves.
  • Intermediate Universe: The Dark Ages, Cosmic Dawn, reionization, and the latest results from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
  • Late Universe: Dark energy, large-scale structure, galaxy surveys, Lyman-alpha forest, 21cm cosmology, and the current tensions in cosmology.

The primary objective is to unite the Indian Cosmology community, fostering new collaborations and strengthening India's role in global mega-science surveys and future missions.Key Details:
