E.H. Neville

Mr. E.H. Neville, a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, in January 1914, was visiting the University of Madras, to give a series of lectures on Differential Geometry to Mathematics Honours students. Hardy wrote to Ramanujan to make the acquaintance of Neville and also entrusted Neville with the mission to persuade Ramanujan to go to Cambridge.
