FACETS 2025

Facets is a 2-day mathematics outreach program organized by IMSc. It is aimed at students with a background in college level mathematics.
Who should apply?
- Students in BSc and MSc mathematics programmes,
- Students in mathematical disciplines such as science and enginerring who have a strong interest in mathematics.
What to expect in the programme?
- There will be lectures in pure and applied mathematics, and a panel discussion.
- Some of the lectures will require you to be hands-on, working on mathematical problems and activities.
- You will get to interact with mathematicians, as well as other professionals and academics who use mathematics in their work.
- We hope that the event gets you excited to learn and explore more mathematics!
