Summer School Student Workshop 2019

A Mathematics and Science workshop for high school students, organized by graduate students

The program is intended for students who are going into class 10.

The workshop will consist of activity sessions, lectures and research talks in a range of topics by students and professors of the institute. We hope to be able to share with students the curiosity and excitement that we have for mathematics, science and research.

The program is free. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

IMSc is unable to provide any support towards travel and accommodation.

Teacher Volunteers

We provide an opportunity for highly motivated teachers to observe the workshops. The teachers will also be involved in scribing and recording the sessions so that lesson plans and other materials can be made available after the program.

Applications are no longer being accepted. We received many applications this year and can only accommodate 30 students and 5 teachers.
