IMSc Mathematics workshop for high school teachers

This is the 8th edition of IMSc's outreach program for school teachers.

This year, the workshop will focus on the use of Geogebra as an exploration tool for students.

The workshop is free. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Teachers can use any of the SSN college buses to reach SSN on the day. Please check the bus routes PDF (39 KB) and find one close to you.

• Mid-point Quadrilateral: Understanding Midpoint Quadrilaterals
• Loci: Solving locus problems; circles, parallel lines, perpendicular bisector, parabola, ellipse, hyperbola
• Euler's Line: Construction of the Euler's Line
• Coordinate Geometry: Midpoint coordinates, distance formula, polynomials, coefficients
• Calculus: Derivative by first principle, derivative as a slope, Integration
