Do you wish to use X, Instagram and other social media platforms to communicate the excitement of doing science to a wider audience? The course will provide a very basic introduction on how to aggregate, design and create the text of a social media message about science and research. It will familiarize you with the fundamentals of using social media and teach you how to use it effectively to create engaging text that can have a bigger impact on readers.

This basic-level course is meant for students of higher education, research scholars, working scientists and people interested in science outreach.

Registrations are now closed.

Participants would need to bring their own laptops to this hands-on workshop since we will be sharing and discussing writing drafts online.

Candidates are encouraged to create a Google account as the course handouts will be shared on Google Drive. The course will be conducted in English.

No admission charges. Lunch and refreshments will be provided at the workshop. We will NOT be providing any transport or accommodation.
