History, Aspects, and Prospects of Mathematics in India
A two-day programme for undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics students

The programme will feature:
- a lecture on the history of mathematics in India by Professor S. G. Dani (TIFR)
- a panel discussion on prospects of careers involving mathematics with Professor Rajeeva Karandikar (CMI) and Professor S. Kesavan (IMSc) as panelists
- expositions by the following experts on varied aspects of mathematics:

How to apply to participate? The primary target audience for the programme are senior undergraduate (third year BSc) and postgraduate (MSc) students in mathematics.
