Workshop: Introduction to creating effective social media posts on science and research

Do you wish to use X, Instagram and other social media platforms to communicate the excitement of doing science to a wider audience? The course will provide a very basic introduction on how to aggregate, design and create the text of a social media message about science and research. It will familiarize you with the fundamentals of using social media and teach you how to use it effectively to create engaging text that can have a bigger impact on readers. This basic-level course is meant for students of higher education, research scholars, working scientists and people interested in science outreach.
