Charles Darwin (12 February 1809 - 19 April 1882) was an English naturalist, geologist, and biologist. He is one of the first to outline the concept of natural selection and evolution.
Evolution implies that all species of life have descended from a common ancestor and is now generally accepted and considered a fundamental concept in science.
His birthday is generally celebrated around the world as 'Darwin Day'.
For the first time, we will mark this day in Chennai in order to raise awareness
among students, teachers and the general public about the topic of Evolution.
