DNA is located in the cell nucleus, folded and packed with many proteins, and forms chromatin. Understanding how chromosomes organize inside the nucleus and predicting the 3D distance between gene regions is crucial to getting an insight into gene expression. In this study, we employ a data-driven polymer model to generate nucleosome-level chromatin organization in human cells. We extract coarse-grained polymer parameters from these simulations and extend our approach to model entire chromosomes.
