A facsimile edition of the `Lost' Note- book of Ramanujan was released by the then Prime Minister of India, Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, at an International Conference in Chennai, organized by the Institute of Mathematical Sciences to mark the birth centenary celebrations of Ramanujan, on Dec. 22, 1987. This volume contains an article by Prof. Andrews about the genesis of this `Lost' Notebook and includes some of the Unpublished papers of Ramanujan.
