The Association for Logic in India , the Institute of Mathematical Sciences and the Indian Statistical Institute (Chennai Centre) announce the Instructional Seminar on Logical Aspects of Multi-Agent Systems. The Seminar will be held at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai from February 1 to 3, 2015.
LAMAS is an international research network on Logical Aspects of Multi-Agent Systems.
There is a growing interdisciplinary community of researchers and research groups working on logical aspects of multi-agent systems from the perspectives of philosophy, artificial intelligence, computer science, game theory, etc. The main objective of the network is to create a more explicit identity for the community. We aim at increasing its visibility, as well as facilitating communication and collaboration among its members.
Since 2010, annual LAMAS Workshops have acted as a forum for sharing research in this area. ISLAMAS continues in this tradition but with an instructional flavour, largely comprising talks of a tutorial nature by eminent researchers in the area.
Participation in the seminar is open to everyone and will be limited only by logistical constraints, but graduate students working on their PhD are especially welcome.
Registration details can be found here.
