Jantar Mantar

Jantar Mantar, a Children's Science Observatory is a bi-monthly children's science magazine in English published by Tamil Nadu Science Forum since 1993. Principally aimed at children at the secondary and higher secondary stage of school, JM has not only enthralled a generation of children in Tamil Nadu, but has also provided a valuable resource to the community of science educators in the state. Over the last three decades, it has contributed immensely to inculcating and nurturing interest in basic science among school children.

JM has featured articles by a number of scientists from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (Madras), Chennai Mathematical Institute and other scientific institutions.
