Look at the four squares A,B,C,D marked in the figure. A,B and C have smaller squares cut out of them.
Q1: Divide A into two equal parts.
Q2: Divide B into three equal parts.
Q3: Divide C into four equal parts.
Q4: Divide D into seven equal parts.

Answer to Math Puzzle (on Page YY)
The answers are shown in the figure. The Q4 was a trick question: notice that D has no part cut out of it and is just a square. You can divide it into any number of equal parts using equally spaced parallel lines. It is therefore very easy to answer this question! Did you get it?
