    The lush green playground is the first thing that catches the eyes as one enters the Hostel-cum-Guest House Complex of IMSc. In the evenings one can see football enthusiasts sweating it out on the field. For the fitness freaks and muscle-maniacs there is a gymnasium with a 16-station multigym, free weights bench, dumb-bells, barbells rods, punching bag and a motorized treadmill. There is a TT table next to the gymnasium and a carrom board in the men's wing in the first floor. All the sports equipments are provided by the Institute.
