dc.description.abstract This thesis contains works mainly on soft-virtual approximation to inclusive and differ- ential observables for various Sudakov-type processes at the hadron colliders. Threshold resummation for a generic n-colorless final states The higher order QCD radiative corrections are considered to be vital for the validity of the SM as well as to constrain the parameters of the beyond SM. The inclusive cross- section is one of the most abundantly measured physical quantities at the hadron colliders and provides a lot of theoretical insights. We present the formal methodology for deter- mining threshold corrections to the inclusive production of n-colorless particles such as gauge bosons, Higgs, and leptonic pairs in Drell-Yan. The formalism used is based on theRefs. [1] where the theoretical framework is used to calculate the physical observables for 2 → 1 process under SV approximation. en_US
