Abstract: With LHC discovering a scalar behaving like the standard-model (SM) Higgs marks the completion (tentatively at least) of all the particles predicted by SM and validation of the fundamental principles upon which it is built, such as Yang-Mills principle of local gauge invariance, spontaneous symmetry breaking and Higgs mechanism. Although no decisive deviation from its prediction has been found till date, the observations of neutrino flavor oscillation, dark-matter (DM), dark-energy (DE) and universe’s baryon excess that the CP violating weak phase in Cabibo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix is not able to account for are clear indications of SM’s incompleteness. Therefore a more complete model beyond the SM (BSM) is expected to account for the DM, DE and universe’s baryon excess. In that spirit, the recent reports of many experiments observing deviations from SM predictions in the range of (2-4)σ in lepton flavor universality observables and CP violating in hadronic τ decay observable are very interesting.
