Abstract:
This report contains the Proceedings of the Matscience Conference on 'Structure of Matter - Mathematics and Phenomenology'
held at the Institution of Engineers (India), Mysore, from 11th to 14th February 1978. Thirty one participants from various centres in the country took part in the proceedings by presenting their latest results, besides a visitor Dr.N.B.Backhouse from University of Liverpool, U.K. About 25 papers were presented at this conference ranging from pure Mathematics to mathematical method in solid state, nuclear and elementary particle physics.
