dc.description.abstract This conference was intended as a forum for interaction in depth between mathematicians, pure and applied, and theoretical physicists. About forty participants from various universities and research institutions from Kashmir to Cape Camorin gave half hour talks on a variety of topics such as Number Theory, Complex Analysis, Topological Spaces, Sheaf Theory, Group theory, Approximation Theory, Differential Equations, Special Function, Grassman and Generalized Clifford Algebra, Quantum Hydrodynamica and even Aircraft Design. One of the highlights of the conference was the paper by Mr.Krishnaswami Alladi from the University of California at Los Angeles U.S.A., dealing with the novel use of Mobius function in Number Theory. en_US
