'Open Day' is an event with the aim of creating curiosity and interest about science among school students. Apart from experiments and demonstrations in the fields of Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and computational biology, the event will have public talks by eminent researchers from different fields who will interact with the children. The highlight of the open day is 'the explanations about everyday phenomena'. This is a 'Day long program' of science demos, quizzes and talks and interaction with scientists, for school students. The science talks were organized in the morning followed by demonstrations in the afternoon culminating in a quiz in the evening.
