<title>2014 - 1st IMSc School on Quantum Information 19-31 January 2014</title>
<link>https://dspace.imsc.res.in/xmlui/handle/123456789/587</link>
<description>2014 - 1st IMSc School on Quantum Information 19-31 January 2014
The Institute of Mathematical Sciences
The first installment of what will be an annual school, or workshop, on recent topics in quantum information theory, will offer five lecturers talking about some of their most recent contributions. The workshops are aimed at an audience already having sufficient background knowledge of quantum information science broadly, but keen to delve deep into some more specialized, more recent, or simply more technical topics.&#13;
This year the focus is on quantum Shannon theory, its impact on quantum many-body physics and locality constraints on quantum operations.
The Annual IMSc School on Quantum Information will focus on the latest advancements in diverse areas of quantum information science. Each year the School will feature a set of courses of lectures by experts on currently unfolding areas of interest, accompanied by tutorial and discussion sessions.

<title>2013 - Conference on Analytic Theory of Automorphic Forms</title>
<link>https://dspace.imsc.res.in/xmlui/handle/123456789/584</link>
<description>2013 - Conference on Analytic Theory of Automorphic Forms
The Institute of Mathematical Sciences
The theory of automorphic forms constitutes a central theme in Number theory as well as Arithmetic Geometry. This conference aims at bringing some of the leading exponents to highlight the recent developments around the analytic aspects of this theory. We also plan to have a number of young researchers and graduate students to take part and interact with these experts. On another note, we take this opportunity to felicitate Professor Ram Murty on his turning sixty this year and honor both his contributions to the subject as well as his untiring efforts in developing Number theory in India.
