TCS Post Doctoral Programme

The Institute welcomes applications for Post-doctoral fellowships in all areas of Computer Science, particularly in those of interest to the TCS faculty. The names of faculty and details about their interests can be found at the TCS Home Page. The fellowships are normally for one year, but can be extended by up to an additional year.

The areas of interest broadly speaking are:  concurrency, logic, algorithms, complexity theory, automata theory

Candidates are encouraged to first correspond with faculty members at IMSc whose interests overlap theirs. However, outstanding applications will be considered even if there is no overlap with our faculty's current interests. Post-doctoral fellows at IMSc are not formally affiliated with individual faculty members but are welcome to collaborate with any of our faculty. They are expected to contribute to the group's activities (for instance, by giving talks, organising  seminar series, etc.).
