Bockstein Homomorphism and some applications

Homology and cohomology with field coefficients often have more
structures and are easier to compute than with integer
coefficeints. But,passing from Z to Zp coefficients can involve a certain
loss of information. This Bockstein homomorphism can help us to recover
some Z coefficients information from Zp coefficient in some interesting
examples. We shall study Bockstein homomorphism and see its applications in
the above said ways.
