Koszul property of diagonal subalgebras

Neeraj Kumar

IMSc

In this talk, first we recall the classical invariants, Castelnuovo-Mumford
regularity of a module and give few examples to understand it. A positively
graded $K$-algebra $A$ is said to be Koszul if the residue field $K$ viewed as a
trivial $A$ module has a linear free resolution. Many algebraic properties of
diagonal sub-algebras of bigraded algebras have been studied. We study the
Koszulness
of certain diagonal subalgebras of bigraded algebras, with focus and
applications to diagonals of Rees Algebra. This work is a part of my PhD
thesis.
