Certain Vector Bundles over Symmetric Product of Curves

For a smooth projective curve X over $\mathbb{C}$ and a vector
bundle E of rank r, there is an associated vector bundle on S^n(X) of rank
nr where S^n(X) denotes the n-th symmetric product of X. We will
investigate some properties of this bundle.
