Arithmetic and Analytic aspects of values of L-functions

In this talk, we discuss about growth as well as arithmetic nature of values of $L$-functions at points inside the critical strip. In particular,
we will discuss some new results obtained in the context of non-vanishing and extreme values of such $L$-functions at the central critical point.
Finally, we shall dwell on the arithmetic behaviour of Euler-Kronecker constants associated to twin primes or Pjateckii-Shapiro primes.
