Semi-invariants of quivers and the saturation conjecture

This talk draws motivation from Sunder's recent talk on the Horn conjecture, but it is logically independent of it. In particular, it will be self contained and will not refer to Sunder's talk for any result. It will be a report on the proof by Derksen and Weyman (JAMS, 2000) via semi-invariants of quivers of the saturation conjecture. The results and view point are most elegant. The paper itself is brief and exceptionally well written (as papers by Derksen generally are).
