A Phenomenological Study of WIMP models

In this thesis, we explore various scenarios of Weakly Interacting Massive Particle (WIMP) dark matter and their phenomenological implications. These scenarios are especially interesting because they can evade the strong constraints from direct detection experiments. We focus on models where the pseudo-scalar field acts as both a mediator and a dark matter candidate, making them difficult to probe in direct detection searches. We also examine a two-component dark matter scenario and its relevant phenomenological aspects. Our models address some of the challenges faced by WIMPs and incorporate neutrino physics, such as oscillation and mass generation mechanisms. These models are constructed from the bottom-up and offer a rich spectrum of phenomenology that can be tested at colliders.
