GW170817, the first observation of gravitational wave (GW) signal from binary neutron star (BNS) inspiral has led to the estimation of individual component masses and the total binary mass. No post-merger remnant GW signal is observed. In this talk, I will review recent results of fully general-relativistic dynamical simulations of BNS mergers and their implications on radius and mass for prompt collapse of BNS mergers.
