Applications of one parameter Lie group of transformations to fractional differential equations

In this talk, we present a brief account of the fractional calculus and significance of fractional differential equations. We also give a brief outline of the theory of Lie's one parameter group of point transformations and explain how it can be useful to derive various invariance properties of a given time fractional partial differential equations (PDEs) including Lie point symmetries, symmetry algebra,similarity reduction. Further, we show that in terms of similarity variables time fractional PDEs can be reduced to fractional ODEs
and also show how to construct their group invariant solutions wherever possible.
