Bombieri-Vinogradov type theorems for sparse sets of moduli

Bombieri-Vinogradov theorem talks about the the L^1 estimate of
error term for prime counting function \psi(y,q,a). There the L^1 estimate
is taken over all moduli classes up to (x^(1/2))/(log x)^A. In this talk I
will explain a paper by Stephan Baier and Liangyi Zhao where they prove
similar types results but over some specific sparse sparse sets of moduli
classes. We will also see how these can be applied to count primes of
certain forms.
