A new proof of Halasz theorem and pretentiousness in analytic number theory.

In this talk, I will present a cheap proof of Halasz
theorem and produce a distance function from it. Finally using this
distance function formulate the notion of pretentiousness between two
multiplicative functions and give some major application of it in
analytic number theory. This new approach is developed by Granville
and kannan soundararajan.
