Discordances between various cosmological observations, with respect to the standard model of cosmology, are the major challenges for modern cosmology. The thesis identifies a primordial signal that is capable of resolving various tensions between early and late time cosmological observations. In this presentation, I will demonstrate that a particular form of localised oscillations in the primordial power spectrum can resolve the Alens anomaly, curvature anomaly, S8 tension and decrease the H0 tension simultaneously. In addition, I will present an inflationary mechanism that can generate these oscillations. I will show that these oscillations, if present, can also be tested with upcoming cosmological observations with significantly higher precision.
