Resolvent and scattering kernels for symmetric spaces of rank one.

In this talk we will explain some recent results concerning the relationship between resolvent and scattering kernels for 
Riemannian symmetric spaces of rank one. This extends known work of how the results of Borthwick and Perry in the setting of
asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds. (Joint with J.Hilgert, and S.Hansen)
