Phenomenological studies of the observed anomalies in the tau sector.

One of the most promising avenues for New Physics(NP) searches is in the tau lepton sector. Tau lepton has large decay modes which will be probed by Belle-II and LHCb in coming years, so the tau lepton studies have a huge potential to reveal NP beyond SM especially related to Higgs sector. In this talk we will discuss work we did recently concerning reported anomalies in CP asymmetry of a tau decay mode and the reported excess in the measurements of R(D*), R(D), indicating a signature of lepton universality violating NP.
