Vigyan Shaala International

The talk will highlight first hand experiences designing pedagogical tools
to promote interdisciplinary thinking and problem solving among youth,
particularly addressing problems at the interface of Physics, Chemistry and
Biological sciences. The speaker will also discuss the how VigyanShaala
International (www.vigyanshaala.com/) have engaged 10,000+ schools
and undergraduate students as well as 500+ teachers with hands-on science
experiment sessions across India.

Bio:
Darshana Joshi is the co-founder and CEO of VigyanShaala International (
www.vigyanshaala.com/) - an organisation that envisions to make
quality Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education
inclusive and accessible to the most marginalised groups across the globe
and build a community of resource sharing. Darshana has a BSc in Physics
from Miranda House, Master's in Materials Science from JNCSR and a PhD in
Physics from University of Cambridge. Darnsha is also a passionate
Physicist, mentor and social entrepreneur, is committed to recalibrating
the gender balance in STEM disciplines.
