Today's events are part of ongoing fortnight-long advocacy being run by DRAI
`Reclaiming our Constitutional Rights' in Chennai from 26/11/18
(Constitution
Day) to 10/12/18 (International HumanRights Day), where we try to highlight
the
different ways PwD are marginalised in spite of promises made in our
Constitution about all of us being Citizens, and how Rights enshrined in the
United Nations Convention on the Rights of PwD are routinely being denied in
spite of India being a supposed signatory to the UNCRPD for more than a
decade.

Disability Rights Alliance (India) is an open collective of individuals
and organisations working on advocacy of respecting, protecting and
promoting all
human rights and fundamental freedoms of all Persons with Disabilities
(PwD).
