The 750 GeV diphoton signal: will it light up the particle world?

I will discuss the possible interpretations of the 750 GeV diphoton signal. If it is confirmed in the coming run of LHC, it will herald the dawn of a new period in the world of particle physics, as it signals new physics beyond the SM around a TeV scale. We point out the rich physics at the future colliders that this will imply​ in that case​.
