Understanding and addressing Genotype-Phenotype Correlations in Complex Diseases

Anshu Bhardwaj

CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, India

The talk will briefly discuss the changing landscape of genomic technologies and their applications, how these technologies may help in addressing genotype-phentoype correlations in context of human mitochondrial diseases and what resources our lab has developed towards the same. We shall then briefly discuss ongoing projects where systems biology, machine learning and other data analysis methods are used to understand and address antimicrobial resistance. We shall give a glimpse of a unique video game our lab developed to generate awareness on antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
