Toy models of the information paradox in empty space

In the past few years, relatively precise versions of the black-hole information paradox have been phrased in terms of the monogamy of entanglement. Proposed resolutions to these paradoxes posit subtle nonlocal effects in quantum gravity. I will describe how a completely explicit version of this paradox can be set up in empty anti-de Sitter space, using the monogamy of Bell correlations. I will then describe how, in this simple setting, the nonlocal effects that resolve the paradox can also be controlled and studied.
