Abstract: This talk will explore the fascinating interplay of disorder and strong interactions in quantum materials, employing a combination of advanced analytical and numerical methods. The discussion will focus on three key areas of my research: 1) Inhomogeneous superconductivity, where interactions lead to superconductivity and the effects of strong disorder-induced fluctuations across the superconductor-insulator transition, 2) Strong correlation effects on the transport properties of the normal state of tJ model, and 3) The effects of interactions on Quantum oscillations in Kondo insulators. Furthermore, I will discuss promising future applications of low-density superconducting nanowires as quantum nano-devices, and semimetals and multi-band systems as efficient thermoelectric materials.
