Higgs+n-gluon one-loop amplitude: an analytical approach

Satyajit Seth

QCD precision calculation is all about considering terms carrying higher powers of strong coupling beyond leading order. Such calculation is indispensable in the context of LHC as it improves theoretical prediction of a given process. Now-a-days, next-to-leading order (NLO) computation that usually contains one-loop amplitude is totally automated and can be done numerically; however sometimes it becomes essential to have the analytical expressions when numerical procedures become computationally expensive and time consuming. In this talk, I would present the first systematic analytical calculation of Higgs production associated with up to five gluons at one-loop level when all gluons carry same helicities. This calculation is important for having precise theoretical prediction of Higgs+jet at NNLO or Higgs+2-jet at NLO in the region where large top-mass approximation is not applicable and results in the full theory are numerically unstable.
