| Abstract | We study the local state discrimination problem for a set of two-qutrit states in iid scenario and the entanglement-assisted scenario. We show that in the entanglement-assisted scenario it is possible to characterise a hierarchy of nonlocality of two sets both of which are equally nonlocal in the iid scenario, thereby showing the limitation of the iid scenario. We provide an information processing protocol to show the usefulness of our result in secure locking and resource-efficient extraction of information. Finally we generalise our result for higher dimension. |
