QCD Corrections and Resummation Beyond Threshold in Hadronic Collisions

Abstract: In recent years, one of the main objectives of the present colliders has been to understand and measure the
fundamental scattering reactions with unprecedented experimental precision. The interpretation of these high-quality data
demands equally high precise theoretical predictions and a precise understanding of the involved processes at the quantum
level. In this talk, I will discuss some of the state-of-the-art computations relevant for certain observables at the LHC
for the detailed study on their phenomenological impact. In addition, I will also present a new formalism that resums
next-to-threshold logarithms to all orders in perturbative QCD, in the context of rapidity distribution of any colorless
particle produced in hadron colliders.
