Higher order QCD corrections and resummation effects in the Drell-Yan process in the Standard Model and beyond

Higher order QCD radiative corrections play an important role to
understand both the Standard Model (SM) and scenarios beyond SM
at the Large Hadron Collider. We will report some of the recent
results both in fixed order as well as in the resummed context for
the Drell-Yan production.
