Thermostability and Cellulases: A Structural Perspective

Understanding and engineering thermostable cellulases will pave the way to develop non-fossil-based fuel alternatives. However, protein’s thermostability is complex and multiple factors play a role. Here I use endoglucanases’ thermostability from sequence, structure, and dynamics perspectives using thermophilic and mesophilic protein sets.
