| Abstract | In 2012, D. Grayson proposed a new algebraic construction of higher K-groups that does not depend on homotopy theory. He defines K-groups in terms of binary complexes. In this talk, I will explain Grayson's new approach to algebraic K-theory via binary complexes. I will also present some recent developments in this direction. This is a joint work with Sourayan Banerjee. |
