Hints of quantum gravity from the horizon fluid

Bethan Cropp

IISER, TVM

The correspondence between black hole mechanics and thermodynamics has
provided useful hints for a path to quantum gravity. Can another
correspondence -- that between horizon and fluid dynamics -- also lead to
such hints? I will discuss work on extending a minimal model of the horizon
fluid to Kerr-Newman black holes and how this leads to such hints.
