Optical companions to isolated MSPs & radio counterpart to gamma ray emission around PSR J1632-4818

Most millisecond pulsars (P$<$ 30 ms) exist in binary, the companions usually being old white dwarfs. Using archival data, we search the population of 60 isolated MSPs in galactic plane for unknown optical companions. We will write new observing proposals for any potential candidates to help understand their binaries better. Other than this, using GMRT data, we analyse the region around PSR J1632-4818 in search for radio counterpart of the diffuse gamma ray emission discovered around the pulsar. As CASA was initially meant for reducing ALMA and VLA data sets, this is also a test analysis for reducing GMRT data using CASA, the results to be used in improving CASA to handle GMRT datasets.
