| Abstract | We will discuss mechanisms governing electronic phase transitions in strongly correlated oxide semiconductors, a class of archetypal quantum materials. The tunable band structures in such systems enables a dynamically programmable semiconductor platform. We will then discuss how features of intelligence noted in slime molds, insects, birds and mammals can be implemented in quantum electronic devices and circuits for brain- inspired computing and memories. Intersections with condensed matter theory and computer science particularly algorithm development for efficient learning will be pointed out. |
